Cemetery nights

This was probably the first painting that I tried using wood and stone on. it was done on canvas, as opposed to the frames that I now make, which are much heavier. The wood itself was actually camp fire wood that we brought back from a camping trip to Inverhuron Provincial park. A place I personally love.

I was tempted to have a silhouette of a tombstone on the hills, as that is the feeling it left me with.
